FNHON Brand Story | Freedom In Motion

September 11, 2026 Cheng-San Loke

In Chinese, FNHON 风行 combines two simple ideas: 风, meaning wind, and 行, meaning to go, move or travel.

Wind represents freedom. It has no fixed shape or direction. It can be a gentle breeze or a powerful storm. It can move above the clouds, through mountains and across oceans. Like the wind, freedom means having the ability to move, choose and follow your own direction.

For FNHON, 风行 represents three levels of freedom.

1. Freedom to Build

Freedom starts with the ability to choose. Instead of being limited to one fixed specification, FNHON gives riders the freedom to create a bicycle that suits their own needs, style and personality.

Choose the frame that fits your taste
Select your own wheels, drivetrain, handlebars, saddle and other components
Build for lightweight performance, comfortable commuting or stronger climbing ability
Mix different components, colours and styles
Create a bicycle that is truly your own

Your bicycle does not have to follow someone else's definition of perfect. It can be built around you.

2. Freedom to Go

A folding bicycle gives you freedom beyond simply cycling. You decide where to ride, when to stop and how you want to continue your journey.

Ride to work, explore the city or take a weekend adventure
Stop for coffee, a meal or simply enjoy the scenery
Fold the bicycle and continue by car or public transport
Bring it along when travelling
Take your bicycle overseas and explore a destination on two wheels

The journey does not have to end where the bicycle stops. Fold it, take it with you and keep going.

3. Freedom to Be Yourself

The deepest form of freedom is the freedom to be the person you truly want to be. Not the person others expect you to be. Not someone who has to follow the crowd. It is about having your own choices, your own character, your own pace and your own way of seeing the world.

Be comfortable being different
Choose what makes you happy, not simply what is popular
Follow your own interests and passions
Take your own path instead of always following the crowd
Express your personality through the things you choose
Change your direction when your priorities in life change
Stay curious, keep exploring and remain true to yourself

Just like the wind, there is no single way you are supposed to be. You can be gentle or bold, quiet or adventurous, practical or unconventional. You are free to become who you want to be.
